So It's Looks Likle Crist Is Going To Beat Rubio
The survey also found that Gov. Charlie Crist, running as an independent, continues to lead former Republican House Speaker Marco Rubio, with 42 percent of the vote to Rubio’s 31 percent. Another 14 percent favor Democratic candidate Kendrick Meek, and 12 percent still undecided. Democrat Jeff Greene was not included in the survey.

Ha ha ha... As a Floridian I can't be happier than to see the Teabaggers' candidate lose...

Go Charlie, go...

1. Rubio still has Jeb Bush on his side.

Shows what a fool Rubio is.

2. That's Because Jeb Hates Crist
I think he will be a decent senator. Florida is a "purple" state and he will have a "purple" voting record.

5. The Only Way Rubio Wins Is If Meeks Catches Fire.
Which I hope doesn't happen. That would be a shame.

8. If meeks caught on fire at least he might get a mention in the I-4 corridor.
In a statewide race it might be helpful to leave your house and visit other towns.

4. Only a fool would let polls decide their vote for them.
The Senate doesn't need another Lieberman.

7. Really? This sounds better to me (even knowing that Crist is really a republican). But if he ends
up in the Senate as an (I), I could live with that. Rubio would be a disaster. Too bad Meeks can't break through.

12. FIXED
"even knowing that Crist was a republican)."

He came out against off shore drilling and threatened to veto a draconian anti-abortion bill.

17. Crist will say and do anything to get himself elected
I've watched him climb the political ladder for the past decade or so. He strikes me as someone who will say or do whatever he thinks is popular at the moment. At one point, when he was our Attorney General, he earned the nickname "Chain Gang Charlie" for his fondness of prison chain gangs.

I still think that Crist is a helluva lot better than Rubio, but I'm not totally convinced that Crist has left the dark side.

20. Crist Is A Politician Trying To Navigate Florida's Political Terrain
Florida's not sending nor will it send in the foreseeable future a DU Democrat to the White House. At his core, Charlie is a "live and let live" pragmatist who will be infinitely more tolerable and progressive than Rubio.

18. He already did veto the anti-abortion bill.
And even if Crist were to caucus with the republicans, he'd still be FAR better than Rubio. The 2 Dem options are (a) invisible, and (b) batshit crazy.
