Slow down. Take your time and let us know what you mean. I have many friends who were vets...especially VN vets. This shit going on is triggering so much. I am so sorry. I used to listen to their stories and think, "Thank Gods, this will never happen again.." It tore me up that anyone would ever have to face this. Now it is back. Being a warrior is not a dishonorable thing. You are the protectors. But there is an implicit rule that we do not misuse these people, that they defend our country but we do not ask them to be 'legionaries' or 'mercenaries'. That is why we have these problems now. Our armies are for defence. Not for what they have been used for.
