DemocratsSenateGov: GOP Job Killing Agenda

When President Obama took office last year, millions of American families and the nation as a whole were facing an economic catastrophe brought on by years of failed Republican fiscal policies. That is why Democrats continue fighting to create American jobs, strengthen our economy, and stand up for the middle class.

In contrast, Republicans are pushing a job-killing agenda that includes opposition to tax cuts for small businesses, opposition to clean energy jobs, and protection for tax loopholes exploited by multinational corporations. The following bills in the 111th Congress are just a few examples of the pro-jobs proposals that Republicans have tried to kill.

Preventing Layoffs of Teachers and First Responders (FMAP)
Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment (HIRE) Act
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
Travel Promotion Act
Cash for Clunkers
Unemployment Insurance Extension
Small Business Jobs and Credit Act
American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act

3. I have yet to see a single Ad on TV by any Democrat either Nationally or Local
U-Tube just doesn't get it for me nor does visiting Democratic sites..I want Public Exposure and I want it HAMMERED HOME day after day, hour after hour until the election..But I almost never get what I want and I doubt Democrats will get what they want unless they put some Ads out there.

6. These ads are usually released in targeted markets by the DNC.
I would guess that this ad is at least pegged for ad buys in the districts of those Republicans whose names are singled-out in it: Boehner, McConnell, Thune, LeMieux.

8. We should remind everyone we talk to, especially if we're
precinct walking, of these points. Excellent!
