Time to go put gas in the car!
So if y'all notice that the quasi-fascist military-industrial-energy complex continues to wield power beyond today, it's my bad because I forgot to fill up yesterday. Sorry about that.

4. But that translates into 12:28 AM, May 15 in the Newfoundland time zone
So you've partially broken the boycott and sabotaged the progressive movement.

5. I noticed there were not too many people at the gas stations here
Good day to get in filler up and get out of there.
This AM 7:00 No cars at the three stations I passed coming in to work.
Noon, I was out, two cars in the station outside the office. Both looked like they were traveling (out of state plates)

People are at least staying away from the pumps around here for what little good it will do. Gas at $3.29

10. Our local big gas station was full when I went by
16 pumps, 14 had people pumping, 1 was blocked off, 1 empty. I had to stop and ask the people inside how the boycott was affecting them. They looked at me like I was nuts. The smaller station had only 2 of 4 pumps with people pumping. I asked someone why get gas today and he said he wanted to keep his tank full since prices were going up and up.

11. What are the odds...
Edited on Tue May-15-07 03:34 PM by RL3AO
that gas stations use the excuse of the increased demand tomorrow to raise prices 10-15 cents and it turns out the gas boycott ends up hurting not helping?
