Ron Paul Supporters Spamming Our Poll Again (little green footballs) LOL
Edited on Wed May-16-07 11:12 AM by IChing
"I warned them. I ’m going to be removing Ron Paul’s name from any further LGF straw polls, because his supporters are deliberately spamming our polls to make it appear as if Paul has more support than he does. Be aware that his results in the poll immediately preceding are not legitimate."

Well thanks for putting this around the web so everyone knows

popularity.

And yet another is... the truth.

on edit: it does appear that however they do love censorship
and poll manipulation as they have removed Ron Paul's name
from their pathetic little poll. What cowards.

7. Don't like the results from your poll?
Simple...remove the contenders that you don't like from the poll. Little Green Footballs mentality. That place is worse than free republic.

8. A pox on you for sending me there!
They are VERY upset that Ron Paul said America's actions in the Middle East were what made the terrorists angry. Used the "blame America first" meme.

AND since he is against the Iraq war he wants the terrorists to win.

My head is spinning.

26. The Nutjobs are the Republithugs
The whiny, cry-baby NeoTard Republicans just can't face the fact that Ron Paul is more popular than all of the other Republican candidates combined. And he opposes Corporate written free trade policies that have made the Corporate plutocrats in the Republican party rich.

Heaven forbid Ron Paul might advocate something that might help workers, while making the super-rich a little less rich.

No one is "spamming" their polls. The Republi-farts just can't face the truth reflected in their own polls.

Come on, Republicans, don't you know you must obey your masters? Blog readers aren't there to think, or express opinions, they're there to give false appearances of support for the LGF bloggers' prejudices.

30. Spamming an online poll? I thought that was the POINT of an online poll.
The point of online polls is to draw in traffic. As a Clark supporter, I was always surprised at how massively Clark blew away online polls, yet that never translated into results in scientific surveys and actual elections. Why? The net isn't statistically representative.

I suspect internetters tend to be more individualistic and perhaps a tad more iconoclastic in their political tastes. Among Democrats that translates into an outsider, intellectual career general with an unusually wonky personal style. Among Republicans, that means disproportional support for the Goldwater libertarian outsider with a wonky reverence for the vision of the Founders.

That's not spamming. I'm sorry LGF's moderator is bothered by the demographic skew of the internet. Shutting down one of the readers' options is not a very small-d democratic solution to losing a popularity contest. But it is a typical one for a Bush-licking neocon to try.
