The price grandpa paid for that, oh boy... that said, all that anti-incumbent feeling is not there.

By the way according to AP...

If we can’t see what McCain is and defeat him,
I’m worried about November.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Nope, here's what I don't get. Are Republicans stupid? Uninformed? Isn't this the state that drew a line in the sand on the border issue? Didn't they just renew McAmnesty? There is no hope for this country, none.

I don’t blame anybody here for venting tonight but after the night is over this needs to be filed under “Don’t Count Your November Election Results Before They Hatch”.

10. LOL...thanks for posting that!
I enjoyed reading those fanatics' comments. I can't believe how Americans actually take those whackjobs at freerepublic seriously.

11. Well truth be told
a few interns in DC offices are reading political blogs... for both parties...

And one thing one of those posters said is true, regardless of party. Don't count them eggs before they hatch.

6. Rats...
I was kind of hoping the tea-bagger would win. The more extremists the GOP puts up, the greater chance we'll have of either beating them in November or, if they actually are elected, their fanaticism will quickly turn off the average American paving the way for Obama's re-election in 2012.

9. Actually I am reading it another way
Throw the bums out, just not my bums is in full action right now.

That anger against incumbents seems to be not that deep.

Yes the dems will lose a few seats, it is the midterm, it is historic trend... but it will not be as bad as the press critters are making it seem.

14. I'm not so sure....
Things are looking pretty bleak for the Democrats right now. I realize some people are predicting our "final demise" after November (whatever), but the country is in an ugly and uptight mood right now and the Republicans' hateful rhetoric seems to be resonating with Joe Sixpack on Main Street.

1 in 5 Americans believe Obama is a Muslim?? 47% of Americans think that Obama created TARP (31% correctly believe it was Bush), and the voters still are against the health insurance reform law by double-digits. This is insane!!!

15. Well, will see I guess
I also know recently I hung on poll takers.

And while me it is anecdotal, this is a real trend... people simply are refusing to answer pollsters, skewing them horribly so.

12. Still waiting to see who his challenger is going to be.
Looks like it's going to be Rodney Glassman - still too early to call.
