Disgruntled Employee Kills 2 Women in Kraft Factory Shooting

Two women are dead and one man is injured after a work-related shooting in the Kraft Foods Factory (the old Nabisco building) a little after 9 p.m. Thursday night, according to Philadelphia Police.

The 43-year-old female shooter, who police confirm was a disgruntled employee, is now in custody.

According to police, the woman locked herself in an office in the building on the 1200 block of Roosevelt Blvd. and shot at authorities making it hard to get to the victims.

Sources tell NBC Philadelphia that more than 100 people were in the plant at the time of the shooting.

Police confirm that the injured man was taken to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital. The extent of his injuries are unknown.

Roosevelt Blvd. is closed Southbound.
