Zogby: Democrats go from trailing Republicans by 6% to leading by 1%
Edited on Mon Sep-20-10 04:13 PM by Mefistofeles
In the generic congressional ballot.

Sept. 10-14: Republicans by 6%.
Sept. 17-20: Democrats by 1%.

Could it be that the anti-Tea Party rhetoric by Karl Rove and others are pissing off some conservatives who now see the GOP less favorably? Just speculating.
I hope they keep fighting each other. One caveat is that Zogby Interactive historically sucks.http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.cfm?ID=1896

2. Two things that may be happening
1) The pukes are starting to become less energized because of the wins by the nutjob base. At least whatever is left of the more sane of the pukes that is.

2) The Democrats are becoming more energized for exactly the same reason. Dems see the nutjob base of the GOP actually taking over the pukes and it scares the shit out of them. It's scared more than a little, could you imagine Rand Paul heading the health care portfolio?

It could also be that as the election gets closer it gets tighter, polls seem to have a habit of tightening as more and more people start to pay attention. The key as always IMO is getting people to the polls.

3. If the Dems can hold the ground, we could devistate the GOP ...
for years to come ... the crazy far right, and the moderate GOP would be blaming each other for the failure.

This is a critical reason for Dems to vote and vote big in 2010.
