Ed Schultz 'Reprimanded' Over Chris Christie 'Fat Slob' Comment

LAME! I wish Ed tore into the fat slob more!!

MSNBC president Phil Griffin has reportedly reprimanded Ed Schultz over his comments about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Last week, Schultz referred to Christie as a "cold-hearted fat slob" on MSNBC's "Ed Show."

Now, TV Newser reports, his boss has given him a talking-to for the second time in as many months.

Last month, Schultz was also reprimanded by Griffin and NBC News boss over a screamy threat to "torch this place" after he was left out of network promos.

When I think of how invaluable Media Matters is to us, which we would not have had it not been for former rabid republican (and nasty tricks guy), David Brock. I also think Ed's background makes him a better talk show host to pull over any "thinking" independents or moderate RETHUGS.

I guess Mr. Schultz isn't interested in my watching or listening to him. I think the Governor in question's ideas and opinions are repugnant and disgusting, but I wonder about the mentality of someone who'd choose to make his attacks on another man's appearance instead of his ideas.

But, I am aware its offensive to some.

Although homeboy is pretty fat and slovenly, its not PC to call him such.

I am also aware that he's consciously aware and is actively working on his weight.

Ed is big, but not fat and slovenly...I wouldn't compare the two of them size-wise.
