The Republican "fear strategy" finally got to me.
I'm very damned afraid of what will happen if Republicans get control of Congress. It's almost too horrible to imagine.

End of the minimum wage
End of Social Security (or worse, they'll take your money and give it to Wall Street)
End of Medicare
End of any regulation that protects citizens, the enviroment, etc.
Deterioration of infrastructure.
Worse persecution of gays and other minorities.
And on and on and on.

Please help get out the vote.

for democrats, the message is fear of republicans

2. I can't survive another republican reign. There aren’t enough antidepressant
and or anxiety meds on the planet to get me through it again.

3. I'm not worried about what they MIGHT do (just being in control of Congress)
Democrats in the Senate can (and I believe that they will) use the filibuster against the Republican Tea Party *agenda* there and although President Obama will probably continue to talk about "working with the Republicans", he isn't going to support any of the above things and I believe that he will veto any such measures should they somehow make it through Congress. The only thing that I'm mildly worried about is people like Issa harassing the Obama Administration with endless frivolous investigations of imagined "wrongdoing". As they proved during the 1990's, they are more than eager AND willing to do it. With things being worse in this country than it was in the 1990's (under Clinton), I don't know how well such antics will play with the public although given Fox News' still apparent popularity and demonstrated ability spew ignorant but influential propaganda 24-7-365, all bets are off IMHO.

No, what I'm worried more about is what the Republicans might NOT do, which, to put it succinctly, is the job they were elected to do. They certainly don't appear to have any plans nor do they have any apparent desire to address the issues and concerns of everyday people.
