Edited on Sat Oct-16-10 07:26 AM by unhappycamper
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (Righthaven LLC?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, I’ve decided to give ya’ll an unhappycamper summary of the article and a link to the OP. To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.

To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: If you were to read this article, you would find out that the United States has 221 burn pits in Afghanistan and 22 burn pits in Iraq. And KBR is still running some of them. And the DoD still can't track veterans who have been exposed to burn pits.

1. Can't or won't track veterans? I know I've read and posted
articles on these burn pits; how hard is it to track lawsuits filed from vets affected by these pits?

2. There are many things our 21st century military doesn't track.
Here's just a few:

depleted uranium poisoning in veterans
deformed babies of United States military personnel
effects from burn pits in veterans
long term PTSD and TBI effects
