A different perspective on the Rally to Resore Sanity and/or Fear...

I saw The Roots, John Legend, Yusuf Islam, Ozzy Osbourne, Jeff Tweedy, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Mavis Staples, the O'Jays, Sam Waterson, Tony Bennet, and even freakin' R2D2 (not to mention Stewart and Colbert)...all on one stage, in three hours, under a beautiful blue sky on The Mall. How cool is that?

I heard the Roots, was in the middle of the wave and basked in the positive energy of 250,000 people... (didn't get close enough to see or hear any of the rest on stage) just being there was ok with me.
