so i voted today.
i'm not feeling well and didn't go to work but knew i had to vote. got out of the house at 3:15 pm. i was number 394 on the day at my polling place (in a suburb of raleigh nc).

i am so mixed up about this election. even rachel's saying we're going down. but i can't believe it, unless no one but the teabaggers show up to vote. i'm dying to find out how it really goes on the one hand; on the other hand, i have a strong desire to just tune out until tomorrow.

i don't know. i think the small number at my polling place cannot be good for democrats. hopefully they'll be mobbed after work. i know that all the democrats i know around here feel the same way i do, that we MUST vote because to return to republican rule would be disastrous. we can't be the only people who feel that way.

1. I have a DVD to watch tonight.
I suppose I'll look online to find out what some of the races were before I go to bed. I doubt we'll know a lot of the close ones before the weekend, if then, because all of the absentee and provisional ballots will have to be counted by hand. Then there will likely be challenges.

When you factor in all the untraceable dirty money, the GOP outspent us 3 to 1. The fact that they mostly have tossups in the latest polls is very telling. Dirty money doesn't work like it used to, folks, and some day it might not work at all.

2. as long as the people turn out to vote.
i'm a die hard democrat so their commercials wouldn't have done anything but piss me off - if i watched tv, which i don't. just the crap i got in the mail was bad enough.

hopefully their money's gone to waste.
