Ballot shortage in Bridgeport, CT
The mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut is asking state election officials to keep the polls in his city open two hours past closing due to a ballot shortage.

Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz instructed poll workers to photocopy blank ballots, allow people to vote on those which would be counted by hand. A police cruiser was dispatched to New Britain from Bridgeport to pick up new ballots from the printer.

The Secretary of State is considering extending the polling hours in Bridgeport until 10pm.

2. This could be very, very good for Malloy. Bridgeport running out of ballots
is huge. They should keep it open later.
