That's what you call an ass kicking.

This is Rahm's debacle tonight. Please, never let that guy near national politics again (unless he wants to "help" the Repugs ;) )

16. I saw that. Ugh
IIRC, Halter was polling withing the margin of error against the repub during the primaries, Lincoln never had a chance according to those polls at the time. O'Donnell is dead wrong about this.

If you lose politically, you employed a losing political strategy. No two ways about it.

Forget Reagan, Bush, Rahm, Kristol, Lieberman... after all, it's the past. It can have absolutely no bearing on the future!

now regret their decision?

Oh.... silly Me. That would require them to have a conscience. Which DLC'ers do not have. :(

33. You seem unclear on a basic concept: NOBODY won in AR
The only people who won were corporations and the uber-rich, the same people who were winning under Blanche Lincoln.

Bill Halter was the right choice, but the D.C. Dems went in another direction... which turned out to be a disaster.

36. Arkansas went Republican. Period.
That's all there is to it. Bill Halter would have been no more liberal than Blanche Lincoln. It's a conservative state. Get it??

If you don't start doing something about countering the LIES, they'll keep on voting just like they did tonight. Like they did in Missouri. And Indiana. And Kentucky. Hello??? Wake the fuck up.

37. Two things that would have happened if Obama had backed Halter
1. It would have put the fear o' god into other DINOs like Ben Nelson

2. It would have fired up the base to see Obama cracking the whip on the party he's theoretically heading.

and possibly

3. Halter would have won the primary and had a much better shot at the general.

Losing political strategy is losing.
