1. Now they have to produce...
Talking points won't help them when the rubber meets the road and they have to do real work.

2. That's really the crucial point in all of this
Blind rage and no ideas won't help our nation improve whatsoever.

17. Yep... and it will be abundantly clear very soon...
That TeaBaggers and the GOTP as a whole have no new ideas. Obama changed some of the Bush policies, and now Republicans want to change them back. What is it again... the definition of insanity... that's fitting because doing the same things that got us into this mess will only make the mess bigger.

3. They are going to vote against everything
and probably try to bring up a bill at least once a month to disband the government and let only corporations decided how we are governed.

6. It's nothing new.

This teabagger crap has been building ever since the day Obama was elected. It began as sheer reactionary terror at having a black president, and grew into a diseased snowball of every ugly social and economic tendency festering in America. It is the expected result of a historic event in American politics.

I saw these wins coming a long way off. Obama galvanized the ugly side of America and got them to crawl out from under their rocks like never before.

This too shall pass. It's only a knee-jerk phase, and once the public sees how insubstantial and incompetent the teabaggers really are, off to the dustbin of history it will go.

Even one of those guys winning is disgusting and unacceptable after all the tricks they played (though they were less bad in many respects than in other previous election years) and the accomplishments and fairness made by the dems.

The democrats will just have to push and work harder and make sure they're understood, otherwise the republicans will think 2012 will be completely easy for them and I bet the lies will start getting churned out soon en masse again; They're probably not gonna make anything easy and try to drag things to exhaustion in ways we haven't seen yet because before with a majority the dems could just vote things in on their own.

I hope you liked sanity those couple of days after the rally, 'cause we're probably not gonna see anymore for a loooong time, better stockpile on patience. Oh, and Rove's apparently gonna be playing anti-Democrat ads for the rest of the lame duck season.

At least it looks like the dems will keep the senate, so the government is halved, Dems- Executive and half the Legislative, Reps - Judicial and half the Legislative. In some ways that's the ideal of the founding fathers but it seems like the right is more concerned with grubbing power like wealth instead of sharing it! (see what I did there?) :)
