3. OMG I REALLY HOPE SO!
Brady scares me to no end, but I think the second he said he wanted to lower minimum wage he lost.

8. sure hope you're right
The state government is a complete mess, and while I'm not impressed with Quinn's handling of it, I hate to think what a disaster will occur if Brady wins.

Doesn't help that the organization I work for is funded by the state, and I can't imagine Brady doing much to help it out - I'm sure libraries are way low on his list of priorities (unless they're on his list to eliminate, of course).

7. I really hope we at least keep Quinn, but it's looking good for Giannoulias as well!
I have to say I'm not that crazy about Giannoulias, but he's better than Kirk!

10. I'm really surprised about how well Quinn is doing.
Let's hope it holds up when the downstate returns come in.

11. I checked the congressional voting and one possible piece of good news as the night rolls on is from
my district

Right now Hare (D) is getting pummeled and we're a rather strong Democratic area.
I would expect that race to tighten and Hare to eventually win.
The vast majority of those votes would swing for the Democrats in all races -- we're very union
