nobody cares that America lost the last patriot when they lost Feingold
The military industrial complex killed his career because he was anti-war. He really cared about America. He was the ONLY one to vote against the USA PATRIOT Act. Nobody in media wants to mention that aspect.

1. they talked about him on MSNBC -- how
because he was a progressive he never really had the full support of the party. that's what happened to alan grayson too. he was too honest.

he is back at 48 % or so. Don't count him out yet.

5. Respectfully, I think Chris Matthews made a mention
It wasn't extensive, but he spoke about this major loss to liberals and Feingold's voting record.

And no one knows what service he may find to involve himself in going forward.

That's it, I'm calling in sick tomorrow. I can't face anyone.

First it's Brett Favre, now Russ. I can't go on...

13. Damn I wish even more that he'd run for president in 2008!
Can you imagine if he'd won where we might be now? Perhaps some decent health care bill stuff and decent transparency in our government and the crappy parts of the Patriot Act rolled back along with perhaps some better "too big to fail" legislation passed.

And Obama would be in better position than we are in now to have the Illinois Senate seat.

When I think what could have been! And to think Russ was staying out so that he could do the work he felt important in the Senate, and the Badger state turned their backs on him!
