GOP Will Blow Its "Mandate" In Six Months

Tuesday's election was a referendum on the economy. If you're out of work, you vote for the other guy. But the election results are built on promises the Republicans can't keep.

Republicans aren't at all ethical. GOP leadership is one snake after another - each one more loathesome than the next. Their dishonest pledge to get America back to work got panic-stricken voters to vote for them, but they can't continue telling lies without being called on it. Economic fear isn't going away, and the same people who naively trusted them to do something are going to be angry.

Republicans are as clueless today as they were when Bush was president. They have no idea what to do about jobs other than run bigger deficits by cutting taxes.
