Move over Jack.

Mohammed is giving you the boot and taking your place as the most popular baby name in the United Kingdom.

Last year, according to Britain's Office of National Statistics, a total of 7,549 newborns were given 12 variations of the Islamic prophet Mohammed's name, such as Muhammad and Mohammad. Media outlets such as CNN have lumped the disparate spellings and declared Mohammed the No. 1 name.

5. There's no compelling cultural reason for...
....non-Muslim boys in the UK to cluster under a single first name. There is for Muslims.

This is as non-remarkable as the high number of Sikhs with the surname 'Singh', and for the same reasons.
