how long do the newbies have to crank out the jobs? 6 months?
a year?

the premise is they were elected on the promises of cutting taxes, creating jobs and giving everyone a pony. When do we start clamoring about not gettin our pony or that our taxes are still to high to pay while we're unemployed.

Too soon is not soon enough.

5. I'm ready to start complaining now...
After all, the only reason businesses weren't falling all over themselves to create jobs was the "uncertainty" of the Obama administration. So, now that the "grown ups" are in charge, there should be no doubt that America will rocket to prosperity, and businesses should hire all the people they possibly can to be prepared for the boom! Banks of course will do their part, too, loaning aggressively to homeowners and businesses, large and small, so as to not miss out on the gravy train the new Teapublican leaders will usher in, post haste.

I believe that's what Boner promised us all, right?

So Johnny boy, where are the results? We want answers!

6. Avoid the Christmas rush
Start referring to them as "the failed Republican takeover" now! No ponies, no peace.

By the way: Keep track of what the Republicans are saying now about what they're going to do, because (1) they will fail to accomplish anything; and (b) they will constantly shift what they say they're trying to do so that nobody remembers what they're saying now.

I say if they haven't found a way to cut the unemployment rate to 7.1 percent by February 1, off with their heads.

14. 1/4 of the time they gave Obama
They gave Bush 8 years, then expected Obama to fix it in 1/4 of that time - 2 years. So 6 months seems pretty fair to me.

If you want to talk reality, everyone was already screaming after only 1 year, so actually, I only give them 3 months.

15. The bad news is that the money is being horded from the last stimulus
and now with their guys wanting to be elected in 2012 traitor business will pull it out of their asses and spend it like they should have already.

17. they have no where to spend it at present
Christmas is just gonna be Chinese junk under the tree. In order to ramp up employment, they'll have to reason to hire. They can't hire ITs, that's already farmed out, can't hire construction, no one has any money, credit or backing to buy at present, can't hire automobile makers, the plants are shuttered for the season and the employees are already trying to cram many into few positions at half wages. So, the thought of creating millions of jobs is outa the pic for now. (unless you're rick the dick scott and can cut government positions and create 700,000 jobs while slashing taxes)

This is gonna be interesting. Just keep the pressure on the other side to follow through without excuses.

Peace

22. It also occurred to me that if their goal is to make President Obama
a failure then they have no reason to start spending even if it would work for them. If that is their goal they do not want the economy to mend before 2012.

18. Where's my pony? I want it now. OK, I'll be fair, they have 24 hours.
I really do wish that they did have the answers and that they could make this country great and pay down the debt and cut taxes and get unemployment to less than 1% and stop all government waste. I'm waiting. So far, no results. I thought they had a magic wand that would save us all now.

19. Well we should be rolling in them before the next election
because republicans said Obama had two years and he hadn't produced all the jobs we needed as of yet. And he hadn't straightened out the economy. One of those was Bachmann. And she hasn't done a damn thing for her district here in Minnesota and still got re-elected. We have a lot of Democrats who won in the state and when we get Dayton sworn in her district is going to be gone. and it couldn't happen to a more deserving person. Clark did more for that district as a state senator than Bachmann has done in her six years.

20. They won't make jobs, they're just there to blame Obama.
The repukes don't have to lift a finger. They only control the house.

For two years, NOTHING will get done. Zip. Nada. Nothing.
and who will they blame? Lets see...Obama?

21. 60 days.
On day 61 we all should start to refer to John Boehner as John "No Jobs" Boehner. Make that shit stick. Connect him to the lack of job growth...make him own it.
