MSNBC to do story about Keith on Countdown.
Shall I watch and report (I was a reporter - have a Jo-Comm degree) or shall I turn it off? I'm not a Neilsen family.

4. Thank you.
I'll sit. I'm not really concerned with the rest of the show. In fact, we Tivo it so we can watch it after our kids are in bed - you know, so we can actually pay attention to it.

Now... no. We stopped the Tivo.

3. Stay informed. That way when you raise hell, like I hope you will, you will
not come off like a tea bagger.

6. watch & keep us posted.
maybe we should pick a designated DU watcher each nite, so we can keep the total viewership down, & still follow the news.

16. There is a whole staff of writers, who were NOT suspended
So the flavor of the show, can go on... it won't be Keith, but it will be insightful journalism, at least for a while.

But maybe, just maybe, this is about MSNBC and Keith plotting together for sweeps month of TV ratings.

Indulge me for a moment...with my latest fantasy.

Somehow, I have a feeling that this is an MSNBC publicity thing, not a REAL suspension.

If I am right, it gets all viewers of all other networks, (yes, even Fox News) to know about Keith, and his views.

If Joe (the morning Joke) got away with giving money...I'm sure this is not the only time a commentator gave money...

This makes Olbermann news on every network.

BUT

It also screws them if this is NOT a publicity play.

12. Caution: This could be BS they air
When Jeff Farias was fired and the Drobnys addressed it they lied and used a clip of a statement Jeff made in the past to prove he quit. The results was people believed it and those who thought about it realized it was crap, and when Jeff played the tape of the actual call, the Drobnys suddenly shut up.

18. Eugene Robinson is on
He's not smiling. He's very serious.

I know he can be serious when on topic, but, he was NOT smiling just after his intro - and he usually does. He has a great smile. I noticed it wasn't there.

questions......

This is the first sign of a BIG FAIL for this ....

He doesn't have a clue......he's a 30 year old wannabee...nothing.........no respect for Robinson.

Stupid questions from a guy wet behind the ears, who doesn't know how to introduce Eugene.

Uh OH, he got ONE LINE in at the end... didn't that Eugene... he said "It's always hard when you step in the middle of controversy... TRUST ME!"... yeah fine... explain yourself, young man!

27. Sorry, screwed up my comment.. but the final statement was from
the host, NOT Eugene, and he treated Robinson like he was just a guy, not a Nobel Prize winner.

24. It was a statement, not a story.
"We know you look forward to Keith's return, and so do we." Somewhere in the back of his mind is the fantasy of replacing him, I'd wager.
