I suspect Ed and Rachel will be gone soon too. IMHO, they have decided if they can't beat FOX they will join em... Look at talk radio and all the Rush clones for a precedent... Did those stations try to counterbalance Rush with someone from the left? No. They tried to find a clone and were quite successful. Hannity? , Beck ? Boortz? anyone...

The die is cast.

1. This is why all Progressives should stand up and make it heard
that we're not going to take it quietly. So far, and much to my delight, we haven't.

Also, why do the ratings always appear so weak, with even CNN surpassing MSNBC's in the last election night coverage? Nielsen, owned and operated by various corporations, and Murdoch owning large shares in the company that manufactures Nielsen boxes, makes me wonder just how accurate their reported ratings are.

Too much of a conspiracy theorist for you?

Take note, that the ONLY country in the world that disparages conspiracy theorists, is America. Every other country sits up and listens, and conspiracy theorists are taken seriously until proven untrustworthy.

Why? Well, because sometimes where there is smoke, there really is fire. History has proven that.

2. Stations tried and we failed.
Air America died a horrible death.. Pumped millions into that, and it just a fact that we don't listen to as much radio. We own the internet, they own the airwaves.
