Could pictures of your goodies end up on a TSA training video?
Feds Admit to Storing Thousands of Images from Naked Body Scanners

Full body scanners, which thwart terrorism by flashing airport security your genitals and breasts, are supposed to generate images that disappear as soon as they're viewed. At least that's what the TSA has claimed in response to privacy concerns over the creepy technology.

As it turns out, that's the opposite of true: The U.S. Marshals Service admitted that just one courthouse checkpoint in Florida has stored tens of thousands of the images. And a report released last week revealed that the TSA demands all machines be equipped with the ability to record and transmit images for "testing, training, and evaluation purposes."

Two weeks ago Janet Napolitano said the body scanners will be introduced in almost every major airport.

4. What do the images look like?
I hear lots of talk about these controversial imaging devices, but never any example of what the images actually look like. It's kind of impossible to form an opinion one way or another. Also, how safe are they? I know there's one that uses radio waves, and the other that uses x-ray.

19. most people in that condition would prefer not to have images of their stripped body stored for all
this isn't just about pretty girls worrying about being jerk-off material, in fact, since most of us are not pretty girls worthy of being jerk-off material, it's mostly about having our personal imperfections put on display and available for the laughter of those who don't like us (say a work rival)

do you really want digital images of you mastectomy available in digital form, because once they're out there, they can and will get out on the internet, hopefully not w. your name attached but you never know...the genie can't be put back in the bottle

the "oh i'm too ugly to look at" doesn't mean your image won't be used, in fact, it may be used in ways that could be far more distressing than if you were beautiful

i had a disfiguring disease as a child, people are cruel, and people are hateful

images of my person, that are beyond my control, do not need to be out there

21. I was being flip
In actuality, I do NOT like the invasion of privacy for anyone. That having been said, what would bother me to no end is some sicko getting a charge out of using images of innocent people for some kind of benefit. I think that is immoral.

Yet when it came to testing the devices - which produce chalky, naked X-ray images of passengers - she turned the floor over to some brave volunteers.

18. If we were Europeans, we could organize a mass demonstration.
A few days of people boycotting flights would change how they do things.
