1. Nice.
At least there's some sanity and plenty of libertarians in AZ (i.e., Rethugs who wants to smoke weed)

6. Az is 1/3 R, 1/3 D, 1/3 Independent. I know it's hard to believe, it's our
state gov't that has all the wackos. Altho, there are a few amazing liberals too - they're just outnumbered.

14. The independents you refer to are usually right-leaning libertarian types.
I knew many people in AZ who described themselves as "Independent" and that was generally how they leaned.

7. Well, there are still 57,000 provisional ballots to go through, but they have all been at least
TRENDING for the "Yes"s (thus the takeover since after the election). Still holding out hope. :)

8. I know, just trying to be optimistic.

Altho - they are in Maricopa county - that could go either way.

I hope I'm not being too optimistic. I really want to see this pass.

11. Oh, I don't think you are. :) In Maricopa, the Yes votes are at 49.8% as of right now, and
all of the provisional ballots are trending for the Yes votes anyhow. After all this talk about the "potheads" not getting out to vote, who knew we were actually the RESPONSIBLE ones, voting early?! hahaha :)

13. CORRECTION (to my previous post above):
Edited on Sat Nov-13-10 02:39 PM by Grown2Hate
There are now only 10,000 votes left to be counted (all in Maricopa, 8,000 provisional, 2,000 early votes). For the "NO"s to overtake the "YES"s, about 7,800 of the remaining votes would have to be "NO" (or 78%). Seeing as how Maricopa is currently split 49.8% YES and 50.2% NO (with the provisional/absentee/early votes all breaking and trending toward "YES"), it would take a MIRACLE for this bill NOT to pass.

Two words... FUCK. YEAH!!!

17. We're all going to need medical marijuana to get through the next 4 years.
 and :grouphug:

It's gonna be a very ugly time. I keep fantisizing that Old Russell has a massive coronary or stroke and won't be able to fulfill his term. Is that mean?
