When nothing is ever good enough...

5. Nothing is ever going to be good enough. We will always have room
for improvement. There will always be those how are disadvantaged and in need of support. There will always be forces trying to undermine and undo every step of progress that has been accomplished.

Nothing is good enough. Nothing will ever be good enough. To think otherwise is to give up the fight.

6. When not good enough is good enough
Leaders will lose all sense of responsibility.

Equally pat, but more illustrative I think. And no, this phenomenon didn't arrive with Obama.

13. Not good enough was good enough from 2000 to 2008
Nobody demanded good enough. See where that got us. That's part of the current problem.

12. 'Nothing' is better than 'worse'.
