If not, I will fly out of Canada if I have to fly. If so, I wont fly.

Dozens of body scanners will be installed in Canadian airports to comply with new U.S. security protocols, the federal government confirmed Tuesday.

Rob Merrifield, minister of state for transport, said 44 scanners ordered on Tuesday will be used on passengers selected for secondary screening at Canadian airports.

3. Do you know if they use them for all destinations or
just flights to the US? I haven't flown out of Canada in a awhile but they have U.S. Customs set up in Canadian airports so that you can clear U.S. Customs before entering the U.S.. That way you can be treated as a domestic U.S. traveler from the first flight instead of having to enter into an international terminal on your first leg. I would expect them to have U.S. security and over reaching paranoia for these flights pretty much because U.S. law applies once you clear the Customs bench.

I wonder if Canada is using the "enhanced" sexual assault technique on travelers flying around Canada or to other (non U.S.) international destinations?

4. My niece was travelling from Ontario back to Calgary when she was
groped ......... er, patted down. (Groped was her word for it). I don't know if it applies to international flights outside the U.S., I was actually surprised to hear we were doing it already. I'll ask my brother tomorrow about this, he will know much more than I do. Maybe other Canadians posting here will as well.

5. Last time I was in Canada I had a dog stick its nose up my butt.
That was a long time ago. I suppose that dog is dead by now.
