I really like being around the people here on DU. Even when we fight and call each other names. LOL.

It's good to be around people who really care about this country and who aren't taken in with this right wing rhetoric we get shoved down our throats.

It's refreshing, contrasted to the conversations I have to deal with in my work life.

1. DU is a generous place

Somebody contributed for me when I was stony broke and I've paid it forward and will continue to do so when I have few bucks I don't need and see somebody who deserves a star.

That's really the kind of world we want to create, isn't it? It's the kind of world where somebody helps you out when you're in trouble and when you're back on your feet, you help people out.
