Why should I feel sorry the government about Wikileaks?
Why should I feel sorry for them for being CAUGHT doing and scheming about corrupt things and sometimes hurting our allies feelings, like calling Sarkozy a not even all that mean name? I hear a lot of moaning, but I haven't heard any apologies yet, and political apology is only worth less than half a normal one as is.

If they didn't want to get caught should they have been doing those things in the first place? Scandal is a common aspect of politics and they would've had to declassify ALL of that stuff eventually anyway.

But here's what really doesn't make sense: Why do some people in the public get mad at WL, then when people like Obama apologize to the international community for the kinds of stuff WL makes public knowledge they go after Obama? If they think the stuff is so bad that it ought to have remained classified as long as they could've, then why aren't they mad at the people who actually did the stuff?
