The always-interesting Q & A on MichaelMoore.com
Q: Has Sicko ever been shown on American television? Good luck to all the sick people in the U.S.

-- Coderik from Holland

A: In Europe and Canada and elsewhere, my films are show on broadcast (free) television in prime time (BBC and Channel 4 in the UK, the CBC in Canada, etc.). Only "Roger & Me" has been shown on free TV in America (PBS in 1992). The only way Americans can see my films is on pay cable or on the basic cable they have to buy. No broadcast network will show "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Sicko," or "Capitalism: A Love Story." Last week, when NBC was giving massive amounts of free air time to George W. Bush and his crime novel, I offered them "Fahrenheit 9/11" for free -- just to provide a little balance. They haven't taken me up on my offer yet.
