How... bipartisan. How woodchuckingly bipartisan.

1. Ya know,
I get kind of depressed when I think about all the "Democrats" that do amazingly stupid things.

2. Meh
Commerce is king.

Kentucky does well by bringing idiots and their money to the State.

4. I don't think there would be less idiots or less money without the governor saying "I like this".

7. This is... fishy
...The developers are seeking state tax incentives under the Kentucky Tourism Development Act, which allows up to 25 percent of the cost of a project to be recovered, Courier-Journal said.

Atheist groups and church-state separation advocates noted that state involvement in the project may not appear to be right, but it does appear to be legal as state tax breaks are used to support tourism projects...

Okay, so they're legally entitled to tax incentives because it's tourism, not sectarian. But, as late as 4 days ago, they were soliciting tax-deductible donations and characterizing the project as Biblical "outreach":

8. If something is touristic AND sectarian, shouldn't the 1st Amendment take precedence?
Yeah, I know. Laws are only as good as the State's willingness to enforce them.

10. Shouldn't they be required by law to post a sign like the astrology sites and such
saying this exhibit is purely for entertainment?

11. OMG! Could you imagine the fundie outrage?

That could be epic.

As a counter balance, I want to buy a billboard across the street from the exit and in thirty-foot-high letters of fire write "We apologise for the inconvenience." They'll never get why it's funny, but I'll crack-up knowing it's there every god-damned day.
