Like The Chickens Cooperating With Colonel Sanders
Barack Obama cooperating with the Republicans is like the chickens cooperating with Colonel Sanders. They are committed to opposing everything he wants to accomplish so they can defeat him in 2012.

I hope he's saying he wants to cooperate with them for domestic consumption because they want to destroy him and if it means that many Americans will suffer in the meantime so be it...

1. Like I've seen many people saying...
I'm thinking he's not going to run for reelection in 2012...that or he sees that a Republican president is a foregone conclusion, so fug it...might as well get started with GOP rule early.

3. I think compromise is just in his nature and it probably
served him well in the past. It, however, has no place in the political war now taking place in America and has a sort of delusional quality to it.

5. Compromise On What
I am a big fan of compromise. I rather make a friend than an enemy. It makes more sense to co-opt an opponent than battle him. You get more with honey than vinegar...

But these Republicans are delusional and misanthropic; a bad mix...

7. They are on a mission. That mission does not allow for compromise.
That mission is to destroy the current administration. Sometimes, people just do not compromise unless they are forced to.

6. Hopelessly delusional or hopelessly masochistic?
Maybe it's a new brilliant negotiating tactic that should be taught in business schools.
