Obama's preemptive call for bipartisanship was slick.
Now, his soundbites can be looped with hell no you cant, we will stall all America's business till the rich are catered to.

It is time for him to bring them to their knees, or rather we do. Last time they tried this shit, they went down hard.

Now is the time. If Clinton can do it, so can Obama.

I think all the rest of America is getting sick of Teafreaks saying they are the only worthy constituency.

I am ready to hit the streets, if not teafreaks. This is up to us now. I will NOT sit down and shut up.

I will not listen to teafreaks yammer on about getting theirs, while telling all the rest of us we are selfish turds.

NEVER was a greek tragedy made, that saw the Gods this complacent.

I will go down fighting. Who's ready to be the fist behind Obama's velvet glove?

3. I'm not so sure
Clinton actually was ready to let the pukes shut the government down. I don't see Obama having that kind of courage.

4. That's right. He's got them right where he wants them.

This last election was just one of the tricks up Obama's sleeve. Now that he's lulled them into a false sense of security, he's going to strike like a viper. Either that or completely roll over for republicans as he has been doing for the past two years and then tell them that he's sorry for not being bipartisan enough. Only time will tell.

5. Blame US, he BEGGED us to force his hand. Without us, he is powerless.
Just like the Constitution intended.

7. Yeah, it's his stupid electorate that's the problem.
He absolutely did NOT ignore us when we begged for a public option. He absolutely did NOT capitulate to just about everyone of the GOP's demands. Apparently it's not enough to get politicians elected who promise to do our will. Apparently it's not enough to get a 60 vote majority in the senate. Unless we actually sit down with them in the senate chamber with pitchforks, we're not doing our job. You know that's not how democracy works, right?

11. This is pathetic. We TRIED to 'force his hand'. In turn we were called
'retarded', 'professional left' agitators, etc.

This administration is OPENLY HOSTILE to the liberals/people who supported him,
and OPENLY DEFERENTIAL to the right wing lunatics.

17. He was whining on TV just a few months ago. His spokesman called
left criticism of the 'professional left' unwanted. His chief of staff called us 'retarded'.

You are not paying attention. That isn't my fault. I AM paying attention however, and the man DESPISES us.

10. That's how I've been spending the bulk of the past 10 years.
If I didn't laugh, then I'd be crying all the time. If we're on a predetermined course to hell, at least we can enjoy the ride.

Obama stimulus put between 1.4 million and 3.6 million to work in the third quarter of this year

November 24, 2010

(Reuters) - The massive U.S. stimulus package, widely panned by voters, injected life into the otherwise-sluggish economy between July and September, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said on Wednesday.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act put between 1.4 million and 3.6 million to work in the third quarter of this year, a time when more than 15 million Americans were unemployed, CBO said.

It also boosted national output by between 1.4 percent and 4.1 percent during that time, the CBO said.

The CBO's estimates have consistently shown that the $814 billion package of tax cuts, state aid, construction spending and enhanced safety-net provisions has blunted the impact of the worst U.S. recession since the 1930s.

Auto industry bailout pulls Kokomo back from brink
http://topnews360.tmcnet.com/topics/associated-press/articles/2010/11/25/120862-auto-industry-bailout-pulls-kokomo-back-from-brink.htm

Kokomo leaders and business owners say an infusion of cash pulled the city back from the brink. Besides benefiting from Chrysler's $7.1 billion share of the auto industry bailout, the plant received nearly $4 million in federal stimulus money and an $89 million grant to help Delphi Automotive Systems develop electronic components for vehicles.

In September, the jobless rate dropped to 12.7 percent — the lowest rate in nearly two years.

13. Obama's velvet glove is roped off.

He is a corporate front man.

We tried to be his fist for real health care reform. As I recall doctors and nurses were arrested in the Senate, and Obama struck deals with the corporate leeches and ignored all our rallies, letters, emails, phone calls, and activism for real health care reform.
And, to top it off, Robert Gibbs called all of us who worked for real health care reform crazy and called for us to be drug tested.

You think this guy serves you or anyone but his finaciers?

How much proof do you need?

18. It was 2 years ago when he did this... now not so much
All through his first two years as president Obama called for Bipartisanship. Tried to work with Republicans, called off the most liberal in his party to reach Republican sided policies. It got him usually at most 3 Republican Senate votes on his most critical parts of his watered down agenda, often none. While the public in polls showed they liked the president was willing to reach out. The mid-term polls showed not enough to not blame him for policies lingering forever in the senate due to lack of Republican votes, votes even less likely now (no one ever called the American public good at politics). If his bipartisanship isn't getting policies passed, not getting him votes, and isn't good for the country, then what's the point?
