What did Thom just say? Wikileaks shows Hillary worked
to block Spain's attempts bring charges against our war criminals?

If I were podcasting, I could just listen again.

1. Would you prefer she actively oppose President Obama?
Say, set up a separate shadow government to undermine his policies and intentions?

Is that what you want for a Secretary of State?

Hillary is the president you all didn't want, remember?

4. Not following you. The news which Thom is streaming
just repeated and I heard more. Yes, it was for Obama, as Thom's comment in the end referenced.

So, you are saying Hillary did this at the request of Obama?

I will be listening for the news clip again to hear. I was thinking the recent Wikileak was more gossip. Whoever actively blocked getting to war crimes is, in my opinion, guilty as well.

3. Hillary doens't get all the blame here
she was merely "following orders" from Obama.

They are both complicit in protecting war criminals.

7. So what does that mean?
You wouldnt vote for them in a primary? Welcome to the club.

Youll vote for the likes of Sarah Palin or Jeb Bush instead of Obama? Or want to say how there is no difference?

I understand but be realistic.

Obama will be the up for reelection in 2012 running against a real piece of work and we really will have to hold our noses if we must and cast our votes. Its a crap system.

10. "Its a crap system."
And it will never change as long as we hold our nose and believe we have no alternative or can't create one.

12. If you sit home in protest it will change alright and not for the better.
There is nothing wrong with realistic pragmatism.

17. "realistic pragmatism" got us the Cold War, a virtual police state, the Iraq War, and torture
"realistic pragmatism" asks, "do you want 2.0M deaths on your hands or 2.1M?!"

20. the way you keep getting these people in the Dem party
Edited on Thu Dec-02-10 03:20 PM by davidwparker
is reasoning like this. You cast your vote however you like.

Let me explain to you that Obama has so lost this state that he carried in 2008, he will not carry it again. So it does not matter who I vote for ... including writing in my own name.

There had BETTER be a primary for 2010. And you can take that to one of the megabanks.

There is a difference between being upset with Obama about not getting a chance for a public option (or a unicorn that farts glitter as Steph and the Mooks like to say) and one which blocks enforcing INTERNATIONAL law)

on edit: added bold part

21. There will be a primary. But lets say up front Obama is the nominee.

And its Nov and its Obama vs Jeb Bush.

No difference for you who wins?

Virginia? He has lost VA? Who was the last Dem to win there before Obama? In the last 50 years Va went Democrat exactly twice.

22. It will be either Romney or Huckabee. Because I live in
VA, I can tell you the mood is cooled to Obama.

He will not turn this commonwealth blue in 2012. Therefore, it does not matter who I choose.

24. Your vote always matters, even if you are the losing side.
I understand, I went and voted for several Dems I knew would lose this last election, but at least I felt good casting my one vote. Its all any of us have.

14. What did Obama think he was going to gain from this?
The internet has become a leveling field. David just gave Goliath a bloody nose. And well deserved, I might add.

And there's a clip around somewhere of Clinton's reaction to the release, claiming that unlike other leaks, this one doesn't expose wrongdoing. That was pretty nauseating.

23. IMHO. Hillary is the only part of the government working well.
She's done her job, and that is to implement the president's policies through State.

If the asshats he's had in charge of the economy were half as good as Hillary, we wouldn't have lost the House, but those guys aren't even Democrats. They're only concerned with saving big banks, dirty insurance companies and Wall Street theft rings.

He's kept the foxes running the hen house at Defense, too.

Blame the president, not Hillary, for the policies of State.
