That question is not about guilt or innocence. Instead it is about politics.

The repubicans can stand up to whatever they choose to stand up.

The Democrats? Not so much.






I am not defending Charlie (personally, I love the guy). I am castigating the Democrats for not closing ranks on one of their own.

I think one of the great traits of Liberals is that they would when someone does something truly wrong.

But it's also not good politically.
