If you consistently work to keep the money in the hands of the wealthy, what resources there are for the frozen and worn-out souls that are left eventually become overwhelmed. Not that I think you care, but your wealth comes from the labor of those souls. If they make less, so do you. If your money doesn't grow, it loses the ability to buy things.

And one day your children will regret what you have done. And turn their backs on you.

1. This is a great history lesson.

Too bad it will be lost on them as their rapacious greed inhibits any prospect of higher order thinking iike compassion or foresight. But for the rest of us its a lesson worth relearning and teaching.
