NY Times: Disappointing Job Growth in U.S. as Jobless Rate Hits 9.8%
In a significant setback to the recovery and market expectations, the United States economy added just 39,000 jobs in November, and the unemployment rate rose to 9.8 percent, the Department of Labor reported Friday.

November’s numbers were far below the consensus forecast of close to 150,000 jobs added and an unemployment rate of 9.6 percent.

More than 15 million people remained out of work last month, and 6.3 million of them have been unemployed for six months or longer.

Private companies, which have been hiring since the beginning of the year, added 50,000 jobs in November. Most of those increases came from temporary help, where 40,000 jobs were added, and in health care, with an additional 19,000 jobs. ............(more)

to get that number then its not jobs growth.... its jobs loss.
But jobs growth sounds better as I see on on all the news site.

Just an observation

So sad .:puke:  the propagandists can't control the message and the numbers..they must be in deep depression..like our economy is!

They love to ignore those that are hurting so badly in this country .. to pass on their bullshit propganda.

This is horrible and sad news...

and for the propagandists..people are truely hurting..so save your bullshit for another day.
