Ball State Daily NewsA student magazine determined to publish a story about bullying of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer students is turning to BSU Printing Services after its original publisher declined to print the latest edition.
Natalie Moya, editor-in-chief of Ball Bearings magazine, which is a media partner of the Daily News, expressed through Twitter her frustration at the company's recent decision not to print the magazine's latest edition.
"Printer refused to print our second issue. I didn't know a story about GLBT bullying was "objectionable" content..." she tweeted Wednesday.
Moya declined to mention the name of the company. However, Page 2 of the Fall edition of Ball Bearings mentions the magazine was printed by EP Graphics, based in Berne, Ind. EP Graphics CEO Tyler Kitt did not respond immediately to a phone call Wednesday night.
