She's Back!!! Ginny Thomas says calling Anita Hill "was probably a mistake on my part."
 Major understatement.

BOSTON — The wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said on Friday that a recent telephone call to Anita Hill, the woman at the center of a 1991 furor at Thomas's confirmation hearing, was probably a mistake.

In October, Virginia Thomas, a conservative activist, left an unexpected voicemail suggesting Hill consider apologizing "for what you did with my husband" at the hearing 19 years earlier.

Hill is now a professor of social policy, law and women's studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The message was left on her office answering machine.

The message "was probably a mistake on my part," Thomas said in an interview with The Daily Caller, a political website. She added that the incident was "a private matter."

8. I love that Virginia's still talking.
This grim episode in our legislative history had been relegated to dust and spiderwebs in our collective memory. Every time she opens her mouth, the cobwebs fly.

I think I love her.

9. Therefore, it wasn't.
Her kind doesn't admit to mistakes, and she seems to have skated with no harm to her lobbying business.

13. In other news: Nazi leaders declare invasion of France 'probably a little over the top'
BERLIN, 1939 — Several members of the German Nazi regime said on Friday that an invasion of neighboring France, the country targeted by Adolf Hitler for revenge, was probably a mistake.

In September, Adolph Hitler left an unexpected Nazi blitzkrieg suggesting France consider surrendering "for what you did to my Germans" at the German surrender at Versailles in 1918.

Hitler is now a professor of eugenics, art and Jewish studies at Reichstag University in Berlin, Germany.

The invasion "was probably a mistake on our part," a top German general said in an interview with Time. He added that the incident was "a private matter."
