200 Camp Outside Kroger's in 20 Degree Weather to get Palin autograph
SYMMES TOWNSHIP - Hundreds of people flocked to a Kroger on Friday to meet Sarah Palin on her national book tour, driven by passion, lured by white-hot celebrity and united by the belief that America would be better off today if she were in the White House.

Many camped outside Thursday night, braving temperatures in the 20s and snow flurries, to be assured of getting Palin’s signature on her book, “America By Heart.” Some came from as far as Columbus, Chillicothe, Toledo and Michigan. One 50-year-old man even drove six hours from St. Louis to get an autographed book as a Christmas present for his wife.

David Richardson, 66, of Loveland who lined up outside the Harper’s Point supermarket at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday – 17½ hours before Palin was set to sign her book – believes he knows the answer.

“I think she’s behind the single biggest change in politics and political discussion in the United States," said Richardson, one of about 200 people who spent the night outside the Kroger to be certain of getting one of the 500 wristbands that guaranteed them a Palin autograph.

2. Well, that proves my point. . .you don't have to be smart to support Palin!
But. . .I thought most people were at least smart enough to get out of the cold during flu season!
Is that the REAL plan to "kill the elderly???" LOL!

7. Interesting quote
“We have a smart guy, a guy from Harvard, in there now,” said Jason Campbell of Dayton. “What’s that got us?”

Did anyone ask him about the Harvard guy just before him?

15. He's right. Community College grads would be MUCH better
They wouldn't get all confused by terms like "Amendment" and "Due Process" and "Governor Sarah Palin? I have a subpeoena for you"

Don't feel bad. Nobody wants to run with me, either.

Love,
Sarah Palin"

16. 200 lined up for 500 wristbands - so at best, she got 40% of what she expected. . .
And not all of them braved the 20 degree weather overnight -- that's listed as only "many." Doesn't sound all that successful, cold weather or not. . .

They just haven't connected the cut back and out of the social safety net to their lives yets.

But then they'll just blame President Obama for everything that has happened over the past 37 years.
