Right Wing Talk Radio: Is it just me or.....

Is it just me or are they not taking many calls. To punish myself I scan the AM dial on the way home to hear what the right wingers are lying about. There used to be no shortage of callers willing to regurgitate right wing talking points on cue. Now it's long screeds spouting the same crap but few if any callers who agree with them.

I'm used to hearing spittle flinging, bug eyed rants from callers on immigration, Muslims, birther nonsense, etc. but nary one call outraged over taxing millionaires and billionaires and the unfairness of it all.

You'd think these asshats would be too hard at work at their big important jobs to sit on hold for hours each day.

9. The basic format is

Callers are really only there, a la Limpballs, as an introduction to the hosts next rant. Most of the time when they even have callers, as pointed out, they all just regurgitating what they have heard the host say before and the host then cuts them off and goes on a rant. Another favorite trick of theirs is to allow a 'psuedo liberal' caller on, let them speak for a few seconds, then go on a rant sounding like they are talking to the caller when they have either hung up or turned-off the caller. Limpballs always claims he doesn't hang up on callers. Odds are either he is not directly responsible for cutting off callers or what he does is cut off their feed then somebody else actual hangs up on the caller.

That may be where they are spending their time now.

I listen to about a 1/2 hour of that crap on the way home and by then I just can't take anymore. But it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the posts online are by RNC staffers as well.

14. They're not hard to embarrass in Comment threads. It isn't necessary to insult them, because

usually embarrass themselves. They never use facts or they never have sources for the "facts" that they do use. And they never have anything to say about facts and sources that anyone else uses. All they ever do is repeat variations on the same unfounded accusations and insults, childish ridicule, that kind of stuff.

I use lots of good links and reply to their posts. They're easy to score points off of in terms of getting the needed information out there. And the people in the Comment thread notice what's going on, because the Tea Baggers are so nasty, and then lots of people click Like when you make a point (containing good information) against them.

It's fun.

That distracts from the message being sent.
Rush hardly takes any calls.
O'Reilly? Who knows, who listens?
Savage? His audience is insane so he does take calls from time to time.
Beck? Callers don't have blackboards.
Hannity? "Thanks for taking my call Sean. It's a honor to speak with such a great American" 'nuff said.

Randi Rhodes takes many calls. Many from right wing maniacs. She let's them rant.
Mike Malloy takes calls. Even from right wing maniacs. He let's them rant.

There is NO distracting from the message on right wing radio.
Period.
Ever.
