Should everyone give up on President Obama?
I've learned that:

  • Everything he has accomplished is mediocre at best.

  • He is in over his head.

  • He is running out of time to prove that he is not an idiot.

  • He's a soulless, uncaring person who only looks out for the rich.

  • He picked up where Bush left off and is trying to destroy our future by advancing the policies of a failed empire.

  • He lacks courage and conviction.

  • He is weak and Republicans are making a fool of him.

  • He is useless.

  • His administration is in moral collapse.

  • His supporters should consider the embarrassment of having voted for this fraud
This is a summary of the things I've been reading on the Internet, and I must ponder them.

60. The Republicans thank you for your help
Every President lacks courage then. They all have to deal with the other party in some fashion.

I'm pretty sure the "courage" and "spine" memes were started by Republicans posing as Democrats on the internet. It's such a Republican theme. Yet per their method of thinking Obama should be "brave" for continuing the war in Afghanistan. Notice that never comes up.

You're just helping the Republicans with that one. May as well join their party, in fact.

He's doing what presidents do, catering to the ruling class. His political sense might be called into question but that is secondary to giving the rich what they want.

49. I am not surprised
Any president would be having difficulty right now. And, failure is an orphan.

So, I am not surprised that Obama is taking a lot of criticism. And, so would any other Democrat who could have been president; none of them would have done any better. And, would be taking similar criticism.

McCain would certainly have done no better; perhaps worse.

My belief is that no one in the office would be doing a "good job". The times are such that no one can.

...and one that I am researching right now is that there is really a time machine that "they" won't tell us about and the republicans got a hold of it and sent Obama (a cyborg) from the year 2012 just to make sure they win the next election. I don't know if it's true, but I read it on the internets so it probably is true.

57. This question is not relevant.
Should everyone fight for what is right?

Should everyone try to end the long-standing policies of empire and concentration of wealth?

Yes.

Obama can lead, follow, or get out of the way. He himself in his post-2010 election concession speech effectively conceded he had no mandate and wanted to follow the Republican line.

Where is he on taxes and other issues of the lame duck Congress? Not leading. He should follow the House's lead, but shows no sign of it.

What's more important, truth or team spirit?

59. It's almost like it's becoming the "in" thing to do
The left clearly likes being victimized and finds itself more comfortable during Republican administrations. They just don't know how to win. They think it means they can sit back and watch the goodies roll in.

Obama is just going to go to the center - the polls say it is the independents who are needed. The left has contributed to that, probably subconsciously so they can be victims rather than doers.

And they can pretend to be above it all. This is good for Republicans, who enable it as much as they can. On the internet, it would be easy for Republicans to pretend to be leftists to add to the cacophony.
