The miracle of one computer chip
A good friend of ours recently lost her little Scottie named Watson. He was a great little fellow and was loved to death. I knew Watson to be very psychic and could see spirits.

Her son and daughter thought that she might want another little Scottie to keep her company but she really wasn't that ready to take on another so soon after the death of Watson.

But they found one for sale on Craig's List and bought him. So they took him to their mother and she saw that he needed to be "fixed" so she took him to the vet.

She was going to find a home for the little guy they had named Chester. The vet asked her if she would like to put a "chip" on him and our friend said, no, she did not want her personal information to be on him when he found his new home.

So, after the procedure, the vet gave her some very surprising news.

They found a chip on Chester already implanted. His name was not Chester - it was Henry. He was from Texas.

But on further research, they found that he had been brought to Denver about two years ago. He was about 3 years old. And a family with two young boys were the owners of Henry.

So the vet asks our friend if she would like him to call the owners or would she like to call? She told him that she would contact the owners.

The oldest little boy was now six years old and he recognized Henry immediately and Henry recognized him. They were thrilled to get Henry back.

When he had first disappeared, the father of the family had put up posters for about six months trying to find Henry and no luck. Finally, he just gave up and his only solace was that Henry would find a good family. Lucky for Henry, he did.

We are convinced that if Henry had not crossed the path of our good friend, perhaps he would never have found his way back home. And it was all because of that one little chip...
