Do you know anyone who will admit to voting for Bush/Cheney?
I know a lot of people who voted for that dufus ... twice. But recently I haven't been able to find one person who will come right out and say, "Yep, I voted for Bush/Cheney."

Reminds me of after Nixon almost ended up in Club Fed. You couldn't find one person who would admit voting for him. Even though he had just won an election by a landslide. I remember my mother went as far as not voting in the primaries any more after Nixon because she didn't want to have to "declare", she was a Republican. Even though she always had in the past. She must have thought everyone forgot?

Weird, huh?

1. Hereabouts there's plenty of cars with Bush/Cheney bumperstickers
still on them. A noted dearth of McCain/Palin stickers, though.

5. I know some who admit the first vote, but wont admit voting for them in 2004
They're usually the same people who now claim Bush was never conservative, and then go off on a tangent parroting the tea bagger BS.

9. I know lots that still not only admit it, but ask me constantly
if I miss him yet.

Unfortunately some of those people are family.

Still see a fair amount of faded W04 stickers as well.

11. My aunt was as vocal in her support for Nixon as my mom was in hers for the Democrats.
When Nixon resigned, my aunt didn't say anything but his photograph went missing from the mantle. That was it.

12. Plenty. Not only are there Bush/Cheney stickers here, but plenty of McCain/Palin
ones as well. I live in VA, a redneck hell, and no one seems ashamed of any of those bastards.

13. I know people who still have "Yes On 8" bumper stickers on their cars.
There's just no changing these idiot's minds. 10 years of Fux, insane religion, and right-wing hate radio have totally warped them.
