so,as I read a recent editorial I wrote...pre-election...I am seated in the dark in despair
I am wondering what our actions will be from here on out.
Help me focus.
It appears I have been black-balled from the paper this was printed in after the election.

http://journals.democraticunderground.com/w8liftinglady/96

I have read with sad curiosity comments by elected officials on renewal of the Tax Relief Bills of 2001 and 2003.Before making a decision on this,we-as those the elected officials supposedly represent-must educate ourselves on the circumstances and results.

The Tax Cut of 2001 (Economic Growth and Tax Reconciliation Act) was intended to relieve the Recession of 2001 by stimulating spending and encouraging saving. It favored largely those making over $200,000/year,and resulted in a $1.75 trillion dollar tax cut.Shortly after passage, the tragedy of 09/11 occurred, and the needs of the nation dramatically changed.Wars were declared in Iraq and Afghanistan. At that point, the bill should have been repealed.Instead,The Tax Relief Bill of 2003 was passed, again favoring those making over $200,000/year.It was estimated to be a $500 billion dollar tax cut.

To date, the cost of War in Iraq and Afghanistan has been $1.079 trillion dollars. This does not count the Veterans Administration costs. The War in Afghanistan is escalating, and the "war" in Iraq has stabilized with "only" 50,000 troops assigned. It's not all bad news, though.Corporations are making a killing(no pun intended) thanks to our troops.

Since 2001,the U.S. has lost 5.5 million manufacturing jobs. Since 2001, over 42,400 factories have closed in the U.S., and another 90,000 are considered at severe risk of closing. The reason behind this is drastically increased outsourcing of American jobs to other countries.More and more "white-collar" employees are beginning to see their jobs outsourced as well.At the same time,CEOs of these same companies have seen their salaries rise and tax rates lower.

These are two examples of how the "Tax Cuts" have benefited Americans.98 per cent of Americans are in dire straits. Two per cent of Americans are doing great. As we enter a new decade of war,do you want to see reduced Tax breaks for the top two percent continue? As employment worsens,do you want to see America devolve into a Third-World nation?Support continuation of these tax breaks, and you may take credit for the unraveling of America as we knew it.Thanks a lot.

1. The only conclusion I can come to, lady...
is that they hate America. They love profits and nice things for themselves. They are not that into community or social works. Their flag follows the dollar.

3. On the topic of blackballing.

Since some have suggested that has occurred to my posts.

Going to make it where they are all removed and have no say in anything, only logical action.

A group blackballing is a accusation of not being worthy of being heard, without defensible argument, and only done within unjust secret groups without authority.

Under the right of actions when actions are falsely claimed against someone, like work not being of worth, or worthy to be heard, I claim the right of the removal of any that blackball without that authority by the application of the law that those that bare false witness must suffer the punishment of the crime they accuse the person of.

From that there ability to communicate with any of there peers, relatives, and brothers sisters or anyone else is removed, and retroactive. (explaining why they can not see what some can)

They will be naked and alone in the dark, by law.

That's how I feel about information control.

Fin.

With exception of compassion for those to weak to understand, or to weak to object or break the restrains and with best effort try to fix and express the best they can.

7. Its ok, here is the thing.
In my belief, my comment should not have any effect, because if they believe they are correct, then they would be able to accept that fate for the better good, based on there perception.

I understand that, since such a fate would not change what I think is better or what I should do either.

But it is really sad, and explains much to them however. It makes sense and explains many things and why some people are so hard to reach.

5. The last few months have been sobering to say the least.
It`s time to recommit to basic Democratic Party principles and hold our leaders accountable, win or no win.

6. I agree.
The unfortunate thing...activists are seen as lunatic fringe....or worse-not at all.

the problem is...by the time we get our collective shit together-the country will totally be in a sorry condition.I see it-homeless,poor,uninsured...increasing in size.
