Is it just me, or do the Republicans sound like desperate
grandstanding assholes every time they open their mouths?

They're like the belligerent neighbor that everyone on the block detests, but has to put up with because there's no way legal way to get rid of him. He's the guy who sneers at your kids when they ride by on their bikes, and purposely parks his car all the way down at the mouth of the driveway so people will have to walk around it as they pass his house. But underneath it all he's just a lonely, pathetic motherfucker who desperately wants attention. Late at night he cries against his pillow and wonders why people don't like him.

One of my favorite scenes in a movie is from Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You. Alan Alda's kid is a staunch Republican until it's revealed he has a brain tumor. Once the tumor is removed, he's a liberal.

2. Excuse me?
They remove a TUMOR -- the thing blocking him from rational thinking. Do I seriously have to explain Allen's joke?

Hell-oooooo!

4. A tumor is not part of the brain, you see.
