19. Yeah, but that leaves an opening....
...it could be argued that by remaining in power they are doing some semblance of good simply by not being republicans.

The reality is that they are just as guilty of blackmail as the republicans are. The republicans are doing it to the Dems and the Dems are doing it to any voter with a sense of decency.

"Support us and don't primary us and continue to give us money and don't criticize us for our blatant capitulation and corporate cowtowing or it means the Republicans will be in power. BOO!!!!"

The Democrats will try to sell you whatever you think you want, as long as you are willing to pay for it...Same as the GOP, but less organized.

look out for the Poorest.

From this poll, we really have become a Moderate Republican Party.

26. As a Liberal , I support Individual Liberty ,in the context of fighting
for Social Justice, both Economic and Civil Justice.
Defending Human Rights at every level while seeking
Peace for our country as well as the world. A strong
Military which is to be used only as a last resort.
I support the principle of a common good. We have
a responsiblity, one to another, to work toward a society
which achieves more equality(financial). This does not
mean the Have's must hand over cash to the Have Nots.
It does mean working within the Capitalist Economic
System to promote policies of fairness and economic
justice while promoting economical growth.

Will stop here, got to get to kitchen.

You get the idea.

I believe we as Democrats must stake out our ground
ang go on offense, leacing no doubt in one person's
mind--Democrats do believe in something, stand for
principles and will fight to the death to defend them.
