I don't know, I think it's disturbing what is going on in this country. I never approved of hunting, and now it's just so in your face now a days.

Sometimes it sucks being a aging liberal and watching the world change so dramatically in front of you.

1. A lot of people hunt. What's disturbing about Palin

is not simply that she hunts (I suspect that in real life she does very little -- it's a lot of work; you don't wear designer clothes; and it doesn't bring in much money), but that she seems to enjoy killing. Or maybe it's that she enjoys killing because she knows it gives her knuckledragger fan base boners. In any event, there's something disturbing about her "hunting" photo-ops beyond just the hunting.

I know I am overly sensitive when it comes to animals.
People do hunt...

People that kill for the fun of it I do not understand.

Actually, I know people who shoot deer, and stock their freezer with meat for the season. Ethically, it's a wash with any other meat person.

Sarah, makes a movie, says "Take that, Levi!" as she cuts the deer down, to the accolades of her adoring fans. It's on a different level. It's in your face.

I guess it's shocking for people who don't care to investigate where their food comes from (it's a lot more humane with hunting than the mass killings that go on in slaughterhouses).

As for Palin being Palin, she does anything which she thinks will make her look good in the eyes of her worshippers.

I am a vegetarian and have been for 37 years and I'm no wuss. Do you think it takes bravery to take aim at an animal, minding it's own business, and pull the trigger?

By the way, I'm a gun owner and can load and fire my own gun. It doesn't take any bravery to pull the trigger.

He brought us some ground venison and some sausage.
