I'm sure the unemployed enjoyed being used as a bargaining chip
To let the top 2% keep their beloved tax cuts.

2. I just had 3 phone calls from people on unemployment.
They're happy as hell. One said they're getting the kids each one present for xmas and can now fill the stockings.

Please don't use them for politics, they're people too.

5. Are you calling me a liar?
One is family.

One is a former coworker.

One is a friend.

Careful there.

9. I have friends that ( I talked to yesterday) have been unemployed a little to long that
can't buy presents, and they hate being used as a pawn too the Rich. They thought giving in was a grave mistake.

12. People look at things differently. They aren't pawns.
I'm glad for all of them who will get the extensions.

6. Well you know the media is spinning that as the Republicans
wanted to extend the unemployment too. So there you go the Republicans saved you all from a tax increase and got the unemployment extended in spite of the Democrats. How in the f--- do the Democrats always come out looking like the a--holes? We could have used the the tax cuts to our advantage and ended up letting the Republicans off the hook and coming out smelling like a rose.

11. The Dems should have drafted a bill in October
That would have extend the cuts to the middle class ONLY.

It might even have helped them in November.
