May I offer my state's governorship as an example? From 2000-2004, we had Bob Holden, who was unpopular enough toward the end of his term that "One Term Bob" was becoming a catchphrase. agree with Rep. Weiner who said that Obama should have took his ass on the road to R states and filled stadiums and put his case out there to try to bring some R's to his side.

Of course I care about the unemployed. Like Weiner said, there should have been a FIGHT of some sort. But there was no fight! NONE! He rolled over like a broken-spirited dog!

Yes, I'm also concerned about the deficit because the deeper we get into debt, the less funds there are for a jobs program, a MASSIVE jobs program on par with FDR's New Deal, but this time not just for existing infrastructure upgrades and new infrastructure projects, but also massive alternative energy and transportation programs. Like Weiner said, the money from taxing the rich could have paid for jobs for those on unemployment and those jobs could have come from this new New Deal WPA.

As for how it would all come together, I don't know. But I know some fight would be required. BUT THERE WAS NO FIGHT! Because OUR PRESIDENT rolled over and gave the MINORITY party and their rich buddies more mansions, property, yachts, and golf vacations, as well as an ESTATE TAX BREAK (read that: ESTATE! Do you have a fucking ESTATE? I don't), and all we got is a few more months of UI, which Obama should have fought for with no compromise for the rich!
